A miniature that tops out at maybe 3 feet, Euphoria Ruby Joe Pye Weed is perfect for growing in smaller garden spaces where her larger growing cousins won’t fit. With a flowering starting earlier than other varieties, the butterflies and hummingbirds will thank you for planting this one. As with other North American Native selections, Euphoria Ruby produces large 8 to 10 inch diameter dome-shape clusters of mauve-pink to pink flowers all summer long and into early fall. The purple stems are clothed in lance-shaped dark green leaves.Â

Growing 2 to 3 feet tall, the ‘Euphoria Ruby’ Joe Pye Weed is ideal for use as a specimen or in groupings in perennial borders or behind low growing shrubs in landscape borders. A fine addition to butterfly gardens, pink theme gardens and consistently moist bog and meadow gardens.

Growing Preferences
Euphoria Ruby Joe Pye Weed is easy to grow in a consistently moist, humusy and fertile soil. It thrives in full to mostly sun however does quite well even with a half-a-day’s shade.
